Just a heads-up reminder as today’s a Thursday, not a Friday. Sony releases Motorstorm Apocalypse today in the UK. The Evolution racer was delayed following the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, but is available to pick up now. Read this reviews round-up to see why you should probably buy it. Evolution Studios has said it overcame some “difficult technical hurdles,” while developing MotorStorm: Apocalypse for PS3.

Motorstorm Apocalypse game director Matt Southern has confirmed in a tweet the game will support steering wheel Logitech wheel support. “Am I allowed to say MotorStorm Apocalypse is going to have a free update to support Logitech wheels, and is truly amazing? No? Oops,” Southern said in a tweet. Go wheel-owning massive.
Following a delay of the racer in the wake of the Japanese tsunami and earthquake two weeks ago, Motorstorm Apocalypse releases next Thursday on PS3.

SCEE’s released the single-player demo for Motorstorm Apocalypse. It’ll come in a 2D and 3D flavour together for those who have the tech. It’ll set you back 1206Mb on your HDD. Get it now from the PS Store.
Game’s out next Friday for PS3 in the UK. First reviews for the Evolution racer came online this morning.

GameSpot‘s put live a new trailer of Evolution off-roader Motorstorm Apocalypse. The trailer shows off garages blowing up, buildings collapsing and even trains being derailed. Might want to keep an eye on this. Seeing this at gamescom was awesome. Trailer’s below. Game’s out on March 18 for PS3.

Sony has released eight new screenshots for MotorStorm Apocalypse showing cars and motorbikes speeding in the streets, through tunnels, and what looks to be a subway station. It’s hard to tell because a tank has demolished it into rubble.

Eurogamer’s just posted the first line-up of games coming to EG Expo in October, this lot coming from SCEE.
