Pre-orders are live for Elemental: Fallen Enchantress, beta opening up “in the coming weeks”

Stardock has announced pre-orders are now being accepted for Elemental: Fallen Enchantress. The PC-exclusive Fallen Enchantress is a stand-alone expansion and followup to Elemental: War of Magic, which will be free to those who purchased War of Magic early on, or at a discounted rate. Those players will also be able to upgrade to the retail box if desired. Beta invites will also be handed out to early customers, and once given out, further stages of the beta will be opened up to other players “over the coming weeks.” You can pre-order the game through here, and also find out if you are eligible to receive the game expansion for free or at a discount.

Stardock’s Elemental: War of Magic site provides some updates

Seems like ages since we’ve heard anything about Stardock’s fantasy-strategy game Elemental: War of Magic – at least on this end.

However, the developers updated the official site for the game last week with some new information.

Stardock announces Elemental: War of Magic

The Galactic Civilisation development team, Stardock, has announced that its next major PC title will be a fantasy-strategy romp entitled, Elemental: War of Magic.

A public beta will be available June next year with the game set for release February 2010 for $50, so get saving.

Also, the game will have “no on-disc DRM”, apparently and will be updated via the company’s own Impulse digital distribution system.
