505 Games’ How to Survive isn’t just about killing zombies in gruesome fashion. As the title suggests, it also tasks you with keeping yourself alive, through foraging for food and finding a safe place to sleep. There’s the option to play alongside a buddy in co-op too. How to Survive puts players on a zombie-infested island, but as the title suggests it doesn’t just leave you to your own devices, providing useful advice on how to stay alive. This gameplay trailer presents “Kovac’s Rules”, which are a good start to your quest to secure food, water and shelter.

505 Games-published zombie survival sim How to Survive has been rated R18+ by the Australian Classification Board, one of under a dozen games to make the grade since its January 1, 2013 introduction. The classification notes high-impact violence as well as moderate impact themes and language. The game hails from Storm developer Eko Software, and has players stranded on a South American island and is expected on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360; no release date as yet.

IndiePub has announced its plan to bring Storm to PC, PSN, XBLA this summer. Developed by Eko Software, physics-based puzzle game developed by Eko Software, has players putting seeds into fertile ground using the weather. It will run you around $10.
