Deus Ex’s Japanese release gets minor content edit

deusex

Square Enix has confirmed that it has edited some minor content in the Japanese release of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The publisher has edited a cut-scene in the Eidos Montreal game which seen a character’s organs exposed, as well as a sexual object. Both of these were removed from the game due to the display of these things being prohibited in the country, but it’ll still maintain the highest rating from Japanese ratings body CERO with a Z.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution launches on September 8 in Japan. It launches in the west near the end of the month for PS3, 360 and PC. Thanks, Siliconera.
