Deus Ex launch: Square releases real-life augmentation doc
As Deus Ex: Human Revolution launches in the UK and Europe today, Square Enix has released a near 15 minute documentary on real-life augmentations. Directed by Rob ‘EYEBORG’ Spence, who lost an eye in a shotgun accident only to have an eye with a wireless camera attached, the video takes look at how far out the augmentations are today from the 2027 future that the Eidos Montreal title foretells.

Deus Ex PC includes code for OnLive edition
The PC retail version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution includes a code for the OnLive version of the game, the company has announced. The code for the game from the cloud service will mean it can be played on the OnLive game system on TVs, as well as nearly any PC and Mac, as well as the upcoming support for iPad and Android tablets.
The Eidos Montreal reboot launched in the US yesterday, with it releasing in Europe and the UK on Friday.

Deus Ex’s Japanese release gets minor content edit
Square Enix has confirmed that it has edited some minor content in the Japanese release of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The publisher has edited a cut-scene in the Eidos Montreal game which seen a character’s organs exposed, as well as a sexual object. Both of these were removed from the game due to the display of these things being prohibited in the country, but it’ll still maintain the highest rating from Japanese ratings body CERO with a Z.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution launches on September 8 in Japan. It launches in the west near the end of the month for PS3, 360 and PC. Thanks, Siliconera.
