The Binding of Isaac expansion to be called The Wrath of The Lamb
Edmund McMillen has announced the next update for The Binding Of Isaac will be called The Wrath Of The Lamb. While details on the expansion are slim at present, a new set of items called Trinkets will be included along with passive bonuses, and other new items bringing to count from 131 to 205. One of these items, called Red Patch, is pictured in the header. Currently, there isn’t a date set for release, but it is expected sometime this year. Thanks, IndieGames.

Do you like interesting things? Then you should be keeping track of The Binding of Isaac. It’s a roguelike shooter with a dash of Zelda, a hint of Robotron, and a soothing dollop of terrifying imagery. Fortunately, you won’t have to do much legwork to reach this one’s final destination. Team Meat madman Edmund McMillen has announced that the game’s coming to Steam on September 28 for $5 via the magical malleability of a sheet of paper. There’s also a limited edition Isaac plushie in the works. His insides may be fake, but his tears are all too real.

Team Meat’s Edmund McMillen has been working on a project called The Binding of Isaac with Florian Himsl and Danny Baranowsky, and it’s being called a “play on my favorite game of all time,” by McMillen who also said on his blog it’s “roguelike and it should be done in about a month.” Extra details on the game are being kept secret until its finished, but he expects to reveal more on it next week. Super Meat Boy and its level editor get videos

Edmund McMillen and Team Meat’s WiiWare and PC remake for Meat Boy has some footage finally available.
Below the break are two videos for Super Meat Boy, one showing off the buzzsaw death traps and wall-jumping and the other demoing the level editor.
When released in 2010, the game will have over 150 stages for just story mode alone.
That should make folks happy.
