Report: GTA V, COD to account for third of all game sales this year
According to a report by US-based financial analyst Baird Equity Research, two upcoming titles – Grand Theft Auto V and the next Call of Duty – will account for almost a quarter of all video game sales in the coming fiscal year.

EA holiday iOS mega-sale goes live
EA has announced that its (seemingly quad-annual) mega-holiday sale has been activated on the App Store. iOS gamers will be able to find nearly the entire EA catalog of games for $0.99 or 69p.
The list is much too big to link all of them here, but simply type “EA” into the App Store’s search bar and you’ll be beset by a deluge of awesome gaming opportunities. If you’ve been looking to pick up a new Madden, FIFA, Scrabble, The Sims, C&C, Mirror’s Edge, or Dead Space game now’s the time.

New Battlefield 3 trailer focuses on Gulf of Oman map
DICE has released a new trailer for Battlefield 3′s upcoming DLC, Back to Karkand. It features gameplay from the Gulf of Oman map and focuses on vehicular combat, giving a glimpse at a fourth, classified vehicle. The expansion releases in December at no extra charge if you bought the limited edition of Battlefield 3. It’s available for $14.99/1200 MSP for others. You can watch the video after the break.

A document containing a lengthy breakdown of the story for Mass Effect 3 has been leaked online, thanks to the recently leaked beta build of the game which got accidentally released onto Xbox Live last weekend.

New Battlefield 3 TV Spot is “Above and Beyond the Call”
EA’s released an extremely brief TV commercial for Battlefield 3, and it teases you with glimpses of what the game will offer you – land warfare, vehicle warfare, as well as aerial combat. The advert doesn’t contain any real gameplay footage but looks really cool nonetheless. It also uses the tagline “Above and Beyond the Call” at the end – The tagline was first seen in the “Battefield 3/Jay-Z 99 Problems” commercial. Battlefield 3 will be releasing on October 25 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. You can watch the trailer after the break.
