The Secret World gets 18 minute gameplay video from EA showcase
GameSpot‘s gone up with an 18-minute long, off-screen gameplay video of Funcom MMO The Secret World. The EA Partners-published title was one of the main points during last night’s publisher showcase, but still no announcement was made on when to expect it release. New Secret World video shows off cinematic
Funcom’s lifted the wraps of a cinematic video from The Secret World ahead of the MMO’s showing later tonight at EA’s summer showcase in California. If you ever wanted to see someone take a piss in CG, it’s a good day for you. It comes off the back of an in-game video that was released for it yesterday. Get it after the break, via GT.

The Secret World trailer focuses on Kingsmouth, Savage Coast
Funcom’s released a new gameplay trailer of The Secret World, showing the location of Kingsmouth and the Savage Coast. Watch as the voice of Raiden from MGS gives a narration of whats happened in the trailer. You can watch it below.
The MMO, to be published by EA Partners, still has no date. Expect more details during the publisher’s US showcase tomorrow.

Respawn title called a “sci-fi shooter” by EA’s Gibeau
EA Games Label president Frank Gibeau said during an E3 meeting this morning that the firm plans to alternate Battlefield and Medal of Honor releases on an annual basis, and will release Respawn’s project when it sees an “opportunistic” window for what he called a “sci-fi shooter”.

Shadows of the Damned confirmed for Japanese release
Despite two of the country’s biggest game developers working on the game, EA’s announced that the Suda-Mikami horror collaboration Shadows of the Damned will release in Japan. No date was given other than just a summer timeline for ¥7,665. It’ll launch in the west for PS3 and 360 on June 21.
