EA Origin is coming to Mac with new social features
EA revealed Origin is being readied for Mac systems. The company has promised a more social experience, as well as improvements to the user interface. Origin’s premier rival, Steam, is also available on Mac, boasting a growing collection of games, and is expected to expand to Linux systems.

Origin EULA revised with data collection for marketing purposes nixed
EA has revised its EULA for Origin, and has removed the bits about using data collected for marketing, but in the end it will still collect your system data and there isn’t an opt out option available.
