New Bioware game slated for end of March 2018, Battlefield 1 player base 50% larger than Battlefield 4

Electronic Arts has reported its Q3 2017 fiscal results for the period ended December 31, 2016, attributing the banner quarter to its digital services, FIFA 17 and of course, Battlefield 1. The firm also drops hints on a new Bioware and Need for Speed title.

    Over 43 million people played EA Sports and console and mobile games during the firm’s Q2 2017 financial reporting period, and folks are still playing mobile hit Star Wars Galaxy Heroes 2.5 hours per day. And Battlefield 1 content on YouTube was viewed over 100 million times from announcement to launch. Lordie that’s a lot.

    EA has posted increased revenue for Q2 ’12 thanks to a surge in its digital and sports offerings, and CEO John Riccitiello noted that Battlefield 3 has shipped over 10 million units since its US launch.

  • EA Q1 FY11 financials: Net revenue up 27% yoy at $815 million

    Electronic Arts has released it’s financial results for the company’s first fiscal 2011 quarter ending June 30, 2010 and it shows net revenue at $539 million, which is down 33 percent from the same period last year, when revenue came in at $816 million.

    It was revealed during EA’s financial call to investors this evening that over 70 percent of consumers who purchase titles from the company took advantage of the free DLC vouchers included in the package.

    The EA financial call is ongoing and the firm has just said that 30 games will be released for iPhone this year.
