Sony Worldwide boss Shuhei Yoshida has explained one of the ways the light-bar on DualShock 4 will work by using the Killzone: Shadow Fall demonstration show during the PS4 event as an example.

A featuring DualShock 4 is below, and in it various developers discuss the new PS4 controller. You get a look at it, but you don’t really see it in action. You at least see it being held to give you a idea of it’s size.

Today at GDC, Sony gave a presentation on the PlayStation 4, and while most of it was pretty technical they gave out some new info on the system’s social features and UI. Selecting a game, for example, will take you to a screen that shows comments about it from your friends and DLC listings as well as any other relevant information. From there you can launch the game.

PS4 will be bundled with a dual camera bar that tracks Sony’s new DualShock 4 controller, but don’t get it mixed up with Move says Michael Denny, vice president of Sony Worldwide Studios Europe. Denny has elaborated a little further on what the new controller can do, and what its light strip is capable of.

Are you annoyed with Sony’s inability to show the actually the PS4 at Wednesday’s New York reveal? Well, don’t be. Even Hiroshi Kawano, President of Sony Computer Entertainment Japan, has indicated he doesn’t know what the final console will look like.
