The Dreadline Kickstarter has ended, falling well-short of its $167,000 goal, as 629 backers only pledged $23,408 towards the project.

Dreadline: ex-Harmonix dev Kimura explains why he escaped industry ‘dominated by giant corporations’
Dreadline is the incoming PC title by Eerie Canal, a new studio made up of ex-Harmonix artist Steve Kimura, and Irrational Games’ Bryn Bennett. Kimura has discussed with VG247 the reason why he and Bennett decided to leave their respective jobs in the triple-a market and go solo, embarking on the Kickstarter route like many other studios.

Ex-Irrational & Harmonix devs begin Dreadline Kickstarter
Dreadline is the first title from the ex-Irrational Games and Harmonix developers that make up new outfit Eerie Canal. It’s a colourful game that sees a band of monsters killing humans who are about to be killed by other means, such as slaughtering the captain of the Titanic before the ship hits the iceberg. Former Irrational Games and Harmonix devs announce new game
Ex- Irrational Games, Harmonix, and Iron Lore developers have come together to form a brand new indie game studio called Eerie Canal Entertainment, and have announced their debut game, Dreadline.
