Puretia, a starter zone for Dragon’s Prophet, has a video showing it off below. The area contains Lake Krent, a volcano and the gigantic city of Arboran. In this area, players will have to fight back a zombie invasion and disrupt “mysterious experiments of a secret society” before they can travel the safe streets of the city. Watch below the break. Dragon’s Prophet has gone into open beta in Europe, and to get you acquainted with the dragon-riding MMO, Runewaker has released two new videos highlighting the Laedis and Satuma zones. Watch below, and sign up for the beta through here if interested.

Dragon’s Prophet will go into open beta in Europe starting this weekend. Starting tomorrow, from 2.00pm onwards, players can jump into the fray and if you purchased the Founder’s Pack, you can play in the beta as early as today. During the beta, current contents will be improved upon, and major updates and large-scale expansions are already in the works. Hit up the official website for more information.

Guild Launch will be handing out thousands of closed beta keys for SOE’s Dragon’s Prophet MMO. Those interested in nabbing one, should head over now, as they are being handed out on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Guilds, as I told you before, will be an important factor in Dragon’s Prophet due not only to the PvP, but the Frontier System in general. Guild Launch is the exclusive US host for the game’s beta keys so hurry and get one before they are all out. Dragon’s Prophet is slated for a Q2 release this year.

Dragon’s Prophet is the latest MMO from Runes of Magic developer Runewaker Entertainment. SOE gives VG247′s resident MMO aficionado Stephany Nunneley the opportunity to test her lizard-taming skills.

Dragon’s Prophet is a new MMORPG from Runewaker Entertainment, the developer of Runes of Magic. It’s headed to Europe this year courtesy of Infernum and Deep Silver, and makes all the usual promises about revolutionising MMO gameplay; it’s boasts of action gameplay, deep character progression and “cross-server Frontier PvP system” do sound quite interesting. The first zone to be revealed is starting area Barka; see some screens and art through the break.
