Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen video showcases even more enemies
Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen releases next week, and Capcom has seen fit to show off more of the enemies you will encounter in it. You can re-watch part one here if you like. The DLC comes with a new underground realm, and allows owners of the original game can export their existing save data over. Those new to the game can start from scratch as it contains all content from the original release. Dark Arisen is out April 23 in North America and April 26 in Europe both digitally and through retail.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen combat video shows the horrors of Bitterblack Isle
Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen releases later this month, and to prep you for battle on Bitterblack Isle, Capcom has released a new combat video. It introduces some of the game’s new enemy types such as Pyre Saurians, the Eliminator, and Death. It also provides the viewer with a few tips on how to defeat them in combat. Check it out below. Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen Mystic Knight gameplay video released
Capcom has released a new trailer for Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen showing off Mystic Knight gameplay. Dark Arisen is due in the west in late April, and includes new features and content in addition to the entire original game. It will be available both at retail and as a download for PS3 and Xbox 360 for €29.99/£19.99.

Dragons’ Dogma has received a new trailer, which gives you a look at the Dark Arisen DLC. In it, the sorcerer goes up against the Poisoned Undead, Banshees as well as the Gold and Silver Knights. The DLC comes a new underground realm, and allows owners of the original game to export their existing save data. Capcom Q3 financials: profits up despite Resident Evil 6 “failure”
Capcom has posted its Q3 nine-month financial report, revealing a profit surge for the company, despite its admitted “failure” of Resident Evil 6. Digital sales and social titles have also rocketed, resting on a prosperous period for the Japanese player. Its projections remain unchanged.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen expansion dated for Japan
Capcom Japan has confirmed an April 25 release date for Dark Arisen, a major expansion to Dragon’s Dogma. The date was shown in a trailer seen in a Famitsu livestream, according to Siliconera, so at this point should be considered relevant to Japan only. Dragon’s Dogma released worldwide in May 2012, though, so a global sim-ship is not out of the question. Dark Arisen is expected as DLC on both platforms in the west but will ship on-disc in Japan.

DmC doesn’t run at 60FPS, it just looks like it does – Capcom claims
DmC: Devil May Cry runs at 30FPS on consoles. It’s no secret, but Capcom has teased that Ninja Theory used a number of tricks and technical wizardry to make the game appear as if it does run at 60FPS. It’s all rather confusing, but check out what the publisher had to say below.

Easy Mode being patched into Dragon’s Dogma in Japan
A patch for Dragon’s Dogma will be released in Japan on August 6, which will make the game a bit easier for beginners. Easy mode will be added to the game’s options menu, which will allow players to switch between difficulties at will. Players can also partake in a new demo on August 9 which contains the opening through the end of the hydra battle. Save data from the demo will carry over into the game. Capcom “continuing to prepare new play elements,” for Dragon’s Dogma
Dragon’s Dogma director Hideaki Itsuno has said you may wish to hold on to your copy of the game for a bit longer. Speaking in an interview with 4Gamer, Itsuno said: “I’m sure many have already cleared the game, but for Dragon’s Dogma, we’re continuing to prepare new play elements. It would be best if you held on to the game for a bit.” Itsuno also said reaction to the game were better than expected, so the developers would like to push it even further and should the fans support it, he would like to make “the next title.” Thanks, Andriasang.
