EA has made some of its Online Pass offerings free though Xbox Live today, a move the firm said will be rolled out across all of its existing franchises.

BioWare: ‘We’re not lying about day one DLC’
BioWare has responded to criticisms surrounding the origin of its day-one DLC content. The studio has said that DLC for Mass Effect 3 and other games is being communicated truthful, isn’t on-disc and isn’t just kept off the disc to milk profits.

EA holding Xbox Live sale
EA’s holding a big January sale on Xbox Live, with games such as Dragon Age: Origins, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit getting discounts as part of the promo. Zeschuk: BioWare’s in a “privileged position” with EA
