The US PS Blog has released its usual update on what’s headed to PS Plus members this week, with the answer being “quite a lot”. Members will receive Scott Pilgrim vs the World and Double Dragon Neon at no additional cost, plus early access to Jet Set Radio, and a discount on a Max Payne 3 and all DLC bundle. The US Plus section should update along side the general Store refresh on Tuesday.

Red Dead Redemption kicks of the PS Plus offerings this month starting today. You can nab the awesome western game for free until October 2. However, there are other goodies in store for subscribers this month such as Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Double Dragon Neon from September 12 through December 4. The lovely point and click puzzler Machinarium is also available from tomorrow, September 5 through October 23. WayForward Technologies has announced Double Dragon Neon, its 80s style reboot for PSN and XBLA, will release on September 11 and September 12, respectively, for $10 or 800 Microsoft Points. The game contains local and online co-op play, and stars Billy and Jimmy Lee who are fighting many a brute in order to rescue Marian from the clutches of the evil villain Skullmageddon. Gameplay consists of the original’s classic, 2D side-scrolling action with a bit of an “80s flair.”

Wayforward has announced it’s working with Majesco on a Double Dragon update for PSN and Xbox Live titled Double Dragon: Neon. The 80s style reboot is scheduled for a July release. According to IGN, the game stars the Billy and Jimmy Lee who are fighting many a brute in order to rescue Marian from the clutches of the evil villain Skullmageddon.
