Dota 2 patch adds Medusa, conatins UI, gameplay and bot changes

Dota 2 has been updated by Valve with not only a new patch, but a new hero: Medusa. Attacks doled out by Medusa include the split shot, mystic snake, and a mana shield which absorbs 50% of damage, and of course stone gaze. Valve and Blizzard settle dispute over use of DOTA

Blizzard and Valve have announced a mutual agreement over the use of DOTA. Valve will continue to use DOTA commercially, while Blizzard’s DOTA will be called Blizzard All-Stars.
