Fable II conjures up 1.5 million copies, people buy them
Dirt-cheap islands are nice and all, but you know what’s better? Popularity. And according to a Lionhead press release, Fable II is an automatic ticket into the cool kids club, with over 1.5 million members and counting.
“Following its release on Xbox 360 on Oct. 21, more than 1.5 million units of Fable II flew off store shelves worldwide in the first two weeks, making it the most popular game, across all platforms, in the U.S. in October,” said the press release.

David Jaffe’s new game probably coming in 2010, maybe sooner
The outspoken creator of God of War and Twisted Metal has updated his blog with info on his next heartbreaking work of staggering genius. Well kinda.
“Going to visit Sony today but we prob. won’t pick a launch day. My gut/guess tells me we’re looking sometime in 2010. Certainly not later than that. Perhaps sooner,” he said.
Better than nothing. Looks like he’ll be promoting the game soon, though. So more, uh, soon.
