Divinity: Original Sin behind-the-scenes Kickstarter video released
Larian Studios’ Kickstarter for Divinity: Original Sin has ended successfully with $944,282 pledged through the crowd-funding service, along with an additional $37,256 raised through PayPal. Divinty: Original Sin Kickstarter to end with 4-hour gameplay livestream
Divinity: Original Sin developer Larian Studios almost doubled its $400,000 Kickstarter funding goal, and with four days left on the campaign clock the team has announced it will host a four-hour gameplay livestream today to celebrate.

Larian Studios Kickstarter campaign for Divinity: Original Sin has passed $700,000 in funding and will now see that all backers receive a digital copy of a unique Divinity audio CD that includes remastered and remixed music from Beyond Divinity and Divine Divinity.

Divinity: Original Sin gets hour long pre-alpha gameplay video
Divinity: Original Sin is still raking in cash on Kickstarter, even though it’s been funded with time left to spare. Producer at Larian Studios David Walgrave has been interviewed about the game for about an hour, while some pre-alpha gameplay rolls on in the background. Check it out here.

Divinity: Original Sin Kickstarter passes first stretch goal
Not content with simple success, Larian Games has only gone and smashed its first stretch goal for Divinity: Original Sin. The RPG has now drawn over $500,000, unlocking a homestead for the player. The next goal is at $650,000 – a system of character traits – and for every extra 1,000 backers, Larian will expand the Phantom Forest area. A video showing off exploration has been released in celebration of the continued crowdfunding; check it out below. Expect Original Sin on Linux, Mac and PC in November.

Divinity: Original Sin Kickstarter a success, Mac and Linux versions confirmed
The Kickstarter for Divinity: Original Sin has been successfully funded. It will now be released for Mac and Linux, and new stretch goals and rewards have been announced. With 17 days to go in the campaign, Larian has added the ability to fund the game through PayPal as well. You can have a look at the new stretch goals below or through the link. Divinity: Original Sin is expected in November.

Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Dragon Commander both headed to GoG
Larian Studios has announced in a Kickstarter update that Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Dragon Commander will both be released on GoG.com. So far, 7,067 backers have pledged $310,159 toward the $400,000 Kickarter goal and there are still a good 21 days left on the clock. More reward tiers and goals have also been outlined, and you can find them through the link. An Original Sin gameplay trailer is below, and it’s a condenced version of the Kickstarter video. Divinity: Original Sin is expected in November 2013 on PC, with Linux and Mac versions pending.

Larian Studios – still no word on who stole PCs at gamescom
Swen Vincke, founder of Larian Studios, has said the firm still has no leads on who made off with two PCs containing builds of Divinity: Dragon Commander and Divinity: Original Sin at gamescom.

Thieves make off with PCs containing early builds of Divinity: Dragon Commander and Divinity: Original Sin
A $5,000 is being offered for stolen PCs at gamescom containing Divinity: Dragon Commander and Divinity: Original Sin builds. The two PCs were stolen from Larian’s booth in the business hall at gamescom, containing early builds of the aforementioned games. Larian is offering the reward as an incentive for information leading to the identification of the culprit and return of the PCs. The team is currently using backup PCs at the event in the meantime, so if you anyone has any information on the stolen tech, head over to Business Hall 4.2, Booth A-16 to let the team know.

Larian Studios has released a set of screenshots for Divinity: Original Sin showing the game and the adventure editor. It also released a video which provides you with an inside look at the game’s development. The game is in development for PC and Mac and is slated for release in 2013. Watch the video below.
