Mirror’s Edge 2 domains updated by EA
Mirror’s Edge 2 is in the news again this week, thanks to EA re-upping its ownership of the domain. Granted, that’s standard practice for any corporation that owns and IP, still, with a listing popping up on Amazon Germany, an Amazon Italy listing for Xbox One, and a page for it appearing on EA’s help site – all signs point to an probable announcement at E3. Note I said probable – this does not denote an assurance. Anyway, head over to PCgamesN for more information.

Battlefield: Bad Company series not in active development, says DICE
Battlefield 4 is the main focus of developer DICE at present, and the studio has confirmed that the nBad Company strain of shooters is not in active development.

Battlefield 4 multiplayer to be shown during EA’s E3 conference

Mirror’s Edge 2 listing pops up on Amazon Germany
Another day, another hope that Mirror’s Edge 2 will be released sooner rather than later. Today, a listing popped up for it on Amazon Germany. AGB has posted a screengrab of the placeholder listing just in case it vanishes. ngmoco Sweden’s Ben Cousins, previously GM of EA’s Easy Studio said last year he’d heard the game was in the works at DICE. This was around the time that EA Games vice-president Patrick Soderlund said DICE was currently working on non-Battlefield titles. E3? Who knows. Keep hope alive.

EA’s “major titles” for FY14 using Frostbite 3 won’t be for Wii U
During its call to investors last night, EA mentioned more than once it was working on 11 “major titles” slated for release during its fiscal year 2014 which use its Frostbite 3 engine, including Battlefield 4. However, the firm isn’t planning on shipping any Star Wars title in FY14 and none of the releases using the new engine will be for Wii U.
