Devil May Cry HD Collection gets April 3 EU/US sim-ship
Capcom’s announced it’ll launch the Devil May Cry HD Collection in both Europe and the US on April 3, 2012. The pack, which comes with Devil May Cry 1, Devil May Cry 2 and Devil May Cry 3, was confirmed yesterday to release on March 22 in Japan for PS3 and 360. The collection will precede the release of the series’s reboot by Ninja Theory at some point next year.

Latest Devil May Cry video shows Dante trying to escape the city
Last week, IGN had an exclusive video posted for Devil May Cry, showing Dante battling enemies and the city itself while trying to take out a camera watching his every move. Today, that trailer is no longer exclusive to the site, but since you’ve seen it already, how about one showing our demon hunter trying to escape a city collapsing around him? Watch it below. DMC will release on PS3 and 360 next year.

DmC gameplay trailer has an abundance of hacking, slashing, shooting
IGN has released an exclusive new gameplay video of DmC, showing various ways in which the city will react to Dante and the enemies he is battling. There are plenty of acrobatics and flourishing combos in there as well. You should have a look below. DMC will release on PS3 and 360 next year.

Ninja Theory inviting hardcore Devil May Cry fans to playtest DMC
Ninja Theory has sent out invites to massive Devil May Cry fans to try out DMC in the hope they can provide feedback for the upcoming series reboot. One invite that was sent out was posted on GAF soon after. The developer will cover all travel costs for those who wish to take part.
DMC is due out on PS3 and 360 next year.

Quick Shots: Devil May Cry screens full of action, nasty looking boss
Capcom has sent over some lovely new screensshots for Devil May Cry. In the shots below, you can look at Dante smack enemies of Limbo City around and observe how buildings, streets and environments will morph in an attempt to kill him. Don’t worry about our demon hunter, though: he can always activate his Devil Trigger, slow time and turn the world monochrome and unleash nasty combos upon the baddies. There is also a look at one of the game’s bosses in there as well. For more DmC action, check out the trailer posted yesterday.

Capcom: Dante changes needed for “visibility”

When Capcom brought developer Ninja Theory on board to make the new Devil May Cry, change was to be expected. But when a new-look Dante was revealed at this year’s Tokyo Games Show, plenty of gamers voiced their disapproval.
Capcom executive Christian Svensson has told IGN UK not only was the company expecting a fan backlash, it was part of the plan.
