Quick Quotes: Dennis Dyack hopes PSN hack doesn’t “undermine people’s confidence” in digital

psnlogo3

“It’s very concerning and I think getting as much information out there – factual information out there as soon as possible is good. I know, personally, I just changed all my passwords because I was an active user of the PSN and I didn’t even want to take a chance. I just started changing all my passwords. It’s concerning from an industry standpoint… digital distribution is the future of our industry and that’s what PSN is and I hope it doesn’t undermine people’s confidence in that delivery medium.” – Silicon Knights founder Denis Dyack voicing his though on the PSN breach via Industry Gamers.

Dyack: Too Human is up to 80 hours long

Speaking with Kiziko, Silicon Knights’ controversial commander in chief, Dennis Dyack, revealed that if you want to reach level fifty in Too Human, the game can be anywhere from 50 to 80 hours in length.

“First play through is probably around fifteen hours, I guess, it depends,” said Dyack.

“To get to level fifty, it’s anywhere from fifty to eighty hours. It’s a lot! There’s a lot there to want to dig! And to get all the epic loot – I don’t even know if it’s possible to get everything in the game, it’s probably not – not for a single person.”

Too Human comes out later this month. Full interview through the link.

Dyack tells “the Gaf”: Stand up and be counted on Too Human

Silicon Knight’s Denis Dyack has posted a rallying cry to Too Human over at NeoGaf.

He’s urging all those who are looking forward to Too Human to “stand up and be counted.”

“Too Human will be out in August and I think there is going to be a lot of trolls crying here. Either way when the game comes out this forum will likely be on fire,” he said.

“So in order to try to put it out some gasoline on this fire I will ask those interested to stand up and be counted.”

Dyack added: “When the game is released and everyone plays game all the speculation will be over. If I am wrong and gamers in general think the game is ‘crap’ then I am comfortable with getting tagged ‘Owned by the GAF’.

“However, if I am right and it is received well, I would like to see those ‘Against’ to be tagged with ‘Owned by Too Human’.”

Oh dear.
