Monkey Island creator Ron Gilbert bids audieu to Hothead Games
With “Monkey Island meets Diablo” action-RPG DeathSpank officially out the door, Ron Gilbert’s making his way toward the exit as well.

Ron Gilbert’s Deathspank gets its first video
Looks like Deathspank has its very first video.
It’s after the break courtesy of Rock, Paper, Shotgun.
Ron Gilbert ‘s new PC adventure game is being described as “Monkey Island meets Diablo,” according to the DeathSpank official webpage.
Sounds interesting to day the least. Go watch.

DeathSpank preview looks rather interesting
DeathSpank, Ron Gilbert’s latest, has loads of information and screens for it posted over on 1UP.
“You get a lot of publishers who want humor in games,” the Monkey Island creator told the site. “They see that as an important thing. But then you try to be funny and it scares them.”
Funny and smart is what Gilbert is aiming for with DeathSpank.
