Notch calls out EA over its Indie Bundle on Steam
Mojang boss Markus Persson doesn’t seem too impressed with EA’s Indie Bundle currently available on Steam, and has taken to Twitter to call the firm out for using the term indie to describe its game pack.

EA Indie Bundle on Steam includes six games for $21
EA has posted an Indie Bundle on Steam. The collection includes: Shank, Shank 2, Deathspank, Deathspank: Thongs Of Virtue, Warp and Gatling Gears for $20.98 which is 70% off the price of $69.94. Both Deathspank titles include Steamplay which will allow you to play the game on either Mac or PC. If you purchased the games on sale individually, it would cost you $34.9, so you’re saving around $13.96 by purchasing in bulk. Get it here until May 9.

HotHead has released a new video for DeathSpank’s latest adventure, The Baconing. Where else can you collect a bounty for a Leprechaun Mob Boss? No, no, not Johnny Cullen, an actual mob boss who heads up a group called the McMafia who reside in Rainbow’s End, which is a Leprechaun Las Vegas.

Quick Shots: DeathSpank gets pimped out in The Baconing
DeathSpank needs all the help he can get when it comes to fighting injustice, but normal armaments just won’t cut it – our hero needs items just as odd and cheeky as he is. Luckily, he can get his hands on the pain inducing Mobile Nuker and the Drill of Justice while sporting his protective Technocrat armor. But DS is a stylish man as well, so why not get decked out in a gangster suit with pots of rainbows for shoulder pads? Why not, indeed.
Shots of the fancy man are posted below, and it looks like at some point he will be able shoot a boy out of a cannon attached to his hand. The dream, there. Game’s out this summer.

Hothead games has announced that not only is DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue now available for download today on PSN, and on XBL tomorrow, but if you purchase the game during launch week, you can get some free DLC for it.

DeathSpank, not content to rest on his laurels, is back later this month in Thongs of Virtue, where he must collect six pairs of thongs.
