DC announces choose-you-own-adventure style comic tech
DC has announced two new digital comics technologies to launch alongside Batman: Arkham Origins in late October. One of these seems like another go at dynamic comics presentation, with voice acting, animations and so on, but the other actually allows the player to choose what path the story will take. Kotaku has an example in which the player chooses whether Batman should follow the Joker or Harley Quinn, and has to go back to the start if they guess wrong. Golly, that’s almost a game. No platforms or pricing details have been announced as yet.
