Microsoft PC chief: Unannounced game aimed at GPU, CPU upgraders

If you thought the new-look Age of Empires meant Microsoft was moving on from PC hardware junkies and into the casual space, think again: Microsoft Game Studios GM Dave Luehmann has confirmed to VG247 that the company is working on at least one game that will “encourage that type of behaviour.”

Pessner takes control of Games for Windows

Microsoft’s confirmed general manager Ron Pessner is moving from the Entertainment and Devices Division to lead its Games For Windows program, following news that previous GfWL boss Chris Early had been laid off.

Pessner is joined by Microsoft Games Studios’ Dave Luehmann, who will now oversee internal development and publishing for Windows-based games.
