Capcom has put out some new footage for Airtight Game’s Dark Void.

You see this huge mech with massive guns hunt your player down as you whizz about the place with a jet-pack strapped to your back.

It’s all very action-packed.

Game’s due out this year for PC, 360 and PS3.

After the break you can see a gameplay walkthrough from producer Morgan Gray for Capcom’s new action adventure game, Dark Void.

It’s a third-person, duck and cover shooter by the looks of things, but if done right, that’s no bad thing at all.

If that wasn’t enough, Gamespot‘s got loads of new images for you to gawp at too.

Dark Void is pencilled in for “2009″ for PC, 360 and PS3.

IGN has a preview of Capcom’s Dark Void, and wasn’t too impressed with it, by all accounts.

“The problem with my hands-on time (and with the build in general) is the framerate, ” says the piece.

“Dark Void is running horribly and it looks almost worse than when I saw it at Captivate. But again, I was told that there’s still almost a year left in development, so these issues could definitely be resolved.”

Ouch. Anyway, If you’re still interested, Gamespot has 11 new screenshots for you to cast your eye over.

We’re not that bothered about missing E3 this year, but we do wish we were going to Comic Con. Capcom’s detailed its showing at the San Diego event, taking place just after E3, and it sounds “fun”. Aside from the enjoyable aspect, the firm’s promising an exclusive Resident Evil 5 trailer, so that’s a good enough reason to not let your guard down after E3.
