EA and Crytek teaming up for another game
In news sure to astound at least two people, Crytek, a video game developer, is making a video game. An EA job ad found by All Games Beta shows the publisher has signed on the Crysis developer for a new project. Speculation on the new title includes such zingers as “it might be a Crysis title” to “it’ll probably be built on the CryEngine”. Crytek has quite a few irons in the fire at the moment, with Kinect-exclusive Ryse, THQ’s Homefront 2, and the free-to-play Warface, as well as its new social platform GFACE.

Original Crysis hits EU 360 Games on Demand
The original Crysis has appeared on Games on Demand for Xbox 360 in Europe following a release in the US for 360 and PS3 owners. PSN owners will get it later today, but it’ll set you back £14.99/1600 MS points. The download will come in at a weighty 4.09Gb. Queue it up for your 360 online through here. Crysis PSN-XBLA gets October 4 release date
EA’s announced the original Crysis for PSN and Xbox Live Arcade will launch on October 4. The game was announced earlier this month for the platforms, with just a non-specific October release and prices all confirmed. It’ll set you back 1600 MS points on XBLA and £15.99 on PSN.

Crysis for consoles to be downloadable, priced at 1600 MSP/£15
Following the initial announcement this morning, EA UK’s announced this afternoon that Crysis 1 on PS3 and 360 will be a downloadable release only for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.
