Further to news that Criterion Games is not, in fact, making a Need for Speed Underground reboot, studio boss Alex Ward has revealed while he, personally won’t be making another racing game, that he wasn’t speaking on behalf of the whole team.

Need for Speed: Underground could be next on the Criterion reboot slate, following the alleged leak of a logo online. Now of course, we all know anyone can use Photoshop to mock up anything these days, so take this as rumour only. Seriously.

Need For Speed: Most Wanted developer Criterion has said that the game’s outstanding DLC packs will only hit Wii U if the studio sees enough support on Nintendo’s format.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted popped up in this week’s console network updates with a new piece of premium DLC called the Ultimate Speed Pack. The $10 content drop includes five new cars – the Pagani Zonda R, McLaren F1 LM, Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, Lamborghini Aventador J and Hennessey Venom GT Spyder, a new Most Wanted List event, new rewards and unlocks, and over 70 new Car Milestones.
