Burnout Crash dated for September 20
EA’s announced that its to release Burnout Crash on September 20 on PSN and Xbox Live Arcade. The game, the first in the series since 2008′s full-blown Paradise, will launch for $9.99 on PSN or 800 MS points for XBLA. The first digital title from Criterion will come with three game modes – an additional mode for the XBLA version will also be included with Kinect support – 18 crash junctions and Autolog support.

Burnout Crash coming next month, confirms EA
EA’s confirmed that Burnout Crash will launch next month. The top-down, downloadable game from Criterion – the studio’s first download game – was previously confirmed for just an autumn date. Now it’s coming near the tail-end of summer instead. Everybody wins.
Crash, based on the crash mode that was introduced in Burnout 3: Takedown, will release on PSN and XBLA, the latter having Kinect support.

Sullivan: NfS demo pulled to “switch servers to support the main game”

Criterion creative boss Craig Sullivan’s explained the reasoning for removing the Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit demo, saying the exercise was to ensure the studio could provide a suitable “service” to buyers, and that it was necessary to end the test to enable to full game’s online hardware.
