Crisis Core PSP announced for Europe
Told you so. Sony’s announced a Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII PSP bundle for Europe to release on June 20 alongside the game.
The bundle includes the limited edition PSP and a copy of the game for €189,90.
Only 77,777 of these were made for the Japanese release, and the machine never made it to the US. So that’s nice.

Rumour: Limited edition PSP hardware for Euro Crisis Core launch
Videogaming247 has it on good authority that the limited edition Crisis Core PSP is to launch in Europe alongside the game on June 20.
SCEE declined to comment on the talk this morning.
The special edition hardware didn’t appear alongside the game in the US (we think – we can’t find mention of it anywhere), and only 77,777 units were made for Japan. Which makes this all the more exciting, Final Fantasy fans.
Don’t have heart failure if this is announced in the very near future.

Euro FFIV, Crisis Core announcements “very soon”
Square Enix has confirmed that announcements regarding European launch details for both the westernised version of Final Fantasy IV for DS and Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII are imminent.
“Regarding both your questions, we should have some announcements being made public very soon,” a rep told videogaming247.
FFIV is releasing in the US in July. Crisis Core is already out in the States, and it likely to see a June release in Europe, the incentive of a special edition with an art book being offered to those willing to wait.

Crisis Core PSP theme on US PSN
Square Enix has released a Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII PSP theme on the US Playstation Store.
It’s a XrossMediaBar affair with a customized background and icons featuring characters from the game. The good news is it’s completely free.
We really like the look of this game that has had both critical acclaim and has hit the number one spot in the Amazon US PSP charts in its first week.
Still no official news on a European release date though, although June’s looking very likely.

New Crisis Core trailer released
See after the link. This is definitely one to watch out for. Listed last week for a June release, Crisis Core sees you take the role of a pre-SOLDIER Cloud and character Zack Fair as they battle against the evil forces of the Shinra Electric Power Company.
Let’s just hope you can turn the music off!

June launch for European Crisis Core, special edition confirmed
Square Enix has launched the European site for Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII on PSP, confirming a special edition pack for those that pre-order online. The pre-order initiative appears to have confirmed the game for a late June launch, with Play listing a June 27 date, and GameStation sticking to “June”. Either way, it’s a teeny bit after the March 25 date Amazon’s currently listing for the US version.
The boosted SKU includes an art book, and all looks very swish. We’re waiting on official word from Square about the date.
