Crimson Dragon director Yukio Futatsugi has confirmed that his spiritual successor to Panzer Dragoon wil l receive difficulty and gameplay updates before Xbox One launches tomorrow.

Crimson Dragon, which was announced as Project Draco during TGS 2011, was originally a Kinect title for Xbox 360 but according to Yukio Futatsugi, Microsoft cancelled the original in order to for it to be reworked for an Xbox One launch title.

A demo for Crimson Dragon, the Kinect title from the creator of Panzer Dragoon, was accidentally released on the XBL Marketplace in Japan today before being quickly pulled by Microsoft. However, as with all things “the Internet”, some quick-on-the-draw folks downloaded it just in time and posted gameplay videos of it. Have a watch below before it’s pulled. The game was originally set for a June 2011 release in Japan before being delayed a week ahead of time. Thanks, Gamekyo.

Microsoft Japan has whacked a June 13 release date on downloadable Kinect shooter Crimson Dragon. No word yet on international dating, but Andriasang has the price down – 1200 MS Points. The gorgeous on-rails experience was previously known as Project Draco; shares control similarities with Child of Eden; and was built by former Panzer Dragoon developers. We have loved it forever. According to a listing from the Australian Classification Board, Crimson Dragon will be the name of the titled Project Draco from the creators of Panzer Dragoon. The Kinect game, which was announced at Tokyo Game Show in 2010, is starting to come out of the woodwork with the first public hands-on later this month at a special event Akihabara.
