Game: UK store launches country’s first free-to-play platform
UK retailer Game has launched the UK’s first dedicated free-to-play platform called – surprisingly – ‘Free 2 Play’. The hub has launched now and contains three games, with more on the way.

Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances launches worldwide
EA has announced the end of beta for Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances, its browser-based, MMO-strategy game, and its the game is now officially live worldwide, in several languages. You can play it here. This is just one C&C game coming from EA, as Command & Conquer Generals 2, which uses the Frostbite 2 game engine, is also in development. EA: “Accidental exposure of concept art,” blamed for similarities between C&C tank and Warhammer 40K
EA has said the reason some concept art for a tank in Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances looked so similar if not identical to Games Workshop’s tank in Warhammer 40,000 was due to “an accidental exposure of concept art.”

Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances hits open beta
EA’s announced that Command & Conquer free-to-play browser MMO Tiberium Alliances has now began its open beta. Those interested in taking part can sign up here. The title is one of two in the series inbound; the other being BioWare Victory’s Generals 2 next year for PC.

Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances announced by EA
EA’s announced Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances as a browser-based strategy MMO. Being developed by Ultima Online developer Phenomic, it’ll be set within the C&C: Tiberium universe, and is built around HTML5, meaning it can be accessed through any web-compatible device. The announcement of Tiberium Alliances comes as it was announced at the VGAs that BioWare Victory is developing C&C: Generals 2 as a PC exclusive for 2013.


Destiny may release on PC, considering cross-platform saves
