Mega-news Monday continues as now news of a new update for Red Alert 3 surfaces.

It’s version 1.12 and fixes the following:

An emergency hotfix that corrects the Assault Destroyer Black Hole Armor error from Patch 1.11.

While Black Hole Armor is active, damage reduction was increased to 35% from what it was in patch 1.10.

Told you it was shit-hot, didn’t we?

EA’s confirmed that Red Alert 3′s PS3 demo will release this week, as confirmed by the game’s site.

It’s a single-player demo that’ll feature the game’s cinematic opening, one campaign mission from both the Soviet and Allied campaigns, and an interactive tutorial.

The full thing’s out on March 24.

A Steam patch released yesterday for Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 removes the SecuROM and Steam digital rights from your game.

Next time you log in, the patch will apply itself and will also remove the game-specific license from your machine.

A new trailer for Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 has surfaced over at Gamespot, showing the units from The Empire of the Rising Sun faction.

EA’s strategy title will be released this autumn for PC and Xbox 360.
