Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z gameplay videos show some actual gameplay
Quite a few videos have been released for Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, and each are less than two minutes long but at least you get a look at gameplay. If you are feeling brave, IGN has 13 minute video of it here. Yaiba Ninja Gaiden Z is due on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the first quarter of 2014. Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z video features Hayashi and Inafune discussing development
A developer diary for Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is below, and features Team Ninja leader Yosuke Hayashi and concept lead, Keiji Inafune, discussing development of the game. The game is in the works between three developmental entities: Comcept, Spark Unlimited, and Team Ninja. In the video, Inafune and Hayashi talk about many things, along with the differences between development in Japan and the west – something which has been touched upon before by the team. Have a watch below. We’re still unsure of a release date or platforms, but we’ll know more come E3 next week.

Soul Sacrifice – more free DLC lands next week
Soul Sacrifice will be getting more free DLC next week. It will consist of eight more quests and two new boss characters Dwarf and Ogre. More content is expected later this month on June 25. The next set of DLC is out June 11.

Soul Sacrifice: 3 free DLC packs detailed for Western release
Soul Sacrifice developer Comcept is giving away a string of free DLC for its PS Vita romp, alongside paid content. Details of the first three packs have been spotted in a GameStop store and have been posted online for all to see. It’s the same content which was outed back in April.

Soul Sacrifice US DLC schedule purportedly leaked
What appears to be a leaked schedule of DLC for Soul Sacrifice has appeared on AGB. It shows what will land on PSN May 28, June 11 and June 25. Looking around the Internet a bit, a couple more sites cite NeoGAF as the source of the leak, but there isn’t a link back to the forum so I can’t find it to glean more information. The June 25 DLC on the schedule is the same DLC which releases in Japan for free next week, so while it looks legitimate, I’ll keep the rumor tag on it. See for yourself through the links.

Soul Sacrifice free DLC hits Japan next week
Soul Sacrifice is out in Japan, and on May 2, free DLC containing two new enemies will arrive on the Japanese PS Store. The enemies are Ghost and Ouroboros, and players can use new forbidden art into an Angel in order to defeat them. It will cost them their bones though, apparently. They will also move slower, but their angelic wings can wound enemies and the form can also heal allies. Trailers for the content are below alongside new artwork. The demo for Soul Sacrifice lands on the European end of the PS Store today, once the update goes live. To keep you sated until then, have a look at some screenshots below. Soul Sacrifice demo saves transfer to full game
The demo for Soul Sacrifice lands on the North American PS Store today, and tomorrow in Europe. Those who try the game out on their Vita will be able to save the data over to the full game when it releases. The demo includes the entire first chapter and is playable with up to three other friends via online or through ad-hoc multiplayer. If the demo save data is carried over to the full game, players will also receive an exclusive bonus item called “Spirits’ Heart” which summons a powerful stone golem to help you in battle. It’s only available through the demo, which will be pulled from the store on April 30 in NA when the game launches – you can still play it offline though, just not with any friends. The demo will be pulled from the EU end when the full game launches May 1.

Soul Sacrifice demo lands on PSN next week
A demo for Soul Sacrifice will land on PSN next week, it was announced on the PS Blog. You can pick it up off the store on April 16 in North America and on April 17 in Europe. You start off in the demo as a slave who is owned by a ruthless mage, and is to be sacrificed. The event is interrupted by a mysterious tome which gives you the ability to think and speak, and it goes from there. try it out yourself. The game is out on Vita April 30. Soul Sacrifice’s first DLC contains two bosses, Goliath map, more
The first screenshots and information pertaining to planned DLC for Soul Sacrifice have been released. According to Game Watch Impress, the free DLC is slated for April and contains the bosses “Behemoth” and “Deyurahan”, a Berserk mode, and the “Goliath” map which can be played in co-op through ad hoc. If you click through the link, you will also see some concept art. Soul Sacrifice will hit North America on April 30 and Europe May 1.
