Planescape: Torment has been rumoured for the sequel treatment following chatter from Obsidian’s Chris Avellone and one of the writers on the original Chris McComb. As Avellone is too busy with the Project Eternity Kickstarter, he has given McComb his permission to proceed with the game with Wasteland 2 developer InXile’s help. InXile boss Brian Fargo has gleefully announced that Colin McComb has come on board Kickstarted CRPG sequel Wasteland 2. A writer and game designer, McComb served a stint at Black Isle Studios, once part of Interplay, and contributed to Fallout 2 and more notably Planescape: Torment. Wasteland 2 is expected on PC in October 2013.
