Eidos has announced that Championship Manager will get a Mac release on November 13.
“Following our successful launch of the PC game and strong PR campaign, we’ve seen a lot of requests for a Mac version and there is not long to wait now,” said Roy Meredith, GM of Championship Manager.
PR is after the break.

Eidos have announced that you can buy Championship Manager 2010 from whatever price you like, from as little as 1p when it releases on September 10.
The scheme is mostly similar to what Radiohead did when they gave away their album, In Rainbows, back in October 2007: allowing people to pick their own price for the album.
However, unlike the Thom Yorke army, there is a minimum fee for delivering the game and the price you decide to give the game. This is the first time something like this has happened in the games industry.
More info here.
Thanks, Suikoden Fan.

Eidos/Square/Enix just posted up the Championship Manager 2010 demo – and here it is.
It doesn’t actually say there what’s in the demo, but “football management” is probably a good guess.
We’ll ask. The full game’s out on September 11. Thanks, G1GAHURTZ.
Update: All details of what’s included in the demo are in the PR after the break.

Speaking in your ears time. Below you’ll find the fourth VG247 podcast, featuring an interview with Batman PR rep Gareth Williams on the game’s now-released demo, as well as some detail on the upcoming Championship Manager 2010 and IO’s Mini Ninjas.
The rest is banter about the week’s news, mainly focused on the EA and Acti figures from earlier this week, the StarCraft II slip, EA’s propensity to burn money and Bobby Kotick’s fated comment on raising game prices.
It’s Friday. Hear us laugh. Remember, you can now add a subscription to this in iTunes (or your news reader, or whatever) with this URL – http://www.vg247.com/feed/podcast/.
When Mart’s finished working on a necessary bit of art, we’ll add it to the iTunes Store.
