EU PS Store update, February 8 – Shank 2, The Simpsons Arcade, Gotham City Impostors, Catherine

Catherine European release to come with special art booklet, soundtrack CD
Deep Silver’s announced this morning it’s to bundle a special art booklet and soundtrack alongside pre-orders of Catherine alongside the game’s European release next month. The content that will come with the Atlus love thriller will not be available outside of pre-orders.

Stray Sheep Edition of Catherine announced for Europe
Deep Silver, the European publisher of Catherine, has announced a special Deluxe Edition Stray Sheep Edition of the game will be released alongside the standard edition in February 2012.

Catherine EU release narrowed down to February
Deep Silver’s narrowed the release timing of Catherine’s European release, confirming it’ll launch the Atlus thriller in February. The game’s European release was announced this summer. It’s also been confirmed the European version will feature a reversible cover of Catherine and Katherine, the game’s two main love interests.

Index, the firm which owns Atlus, has reported sales of ¥22,934 million for the period of September 1, 2010 through August 31, 2011.

Catherine moves 200,000 units in first week
Atlus has tweeted a picture of a cake, which shows that Catherine moved 200,000 units in the US at launch. Earlier this week, Tim Pivnicny, VP of sales and marketing at Atlus stated that sales for the title had “exceeded” the firm’s “highest expectations,” and that it was the “largest launch in the 20-year history of Atlus.” Congratulations.
