Tank! Tank! Tank! releases on the Nintendo eShop this week, and it will be a free download for both North America and Europe. Today, however, we are focusing on items available for the later, so North American users can expect their usual update later in the week. Tank! Tank! Tank! players can also download some DLC for the title which will be 80% until February 28. Your full European Nintendo eShop update is below.

Castlevania has turned up on the ESRB’s catalogue as a 3DS and Wii title, suggesting a Virtual Console release is on the cards. It’s not clear whether the title refers to the 1986 action platformer that started it all, or the 1999 N6$ game, although given the destination platforms the former seems more likely. A new 3DS game, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate, is due in early March.

Castlevania: Mirror of Fate pre-orders at GameStop will net those who drop the cash early a 3DS case upon the game’s release. It looks rather cool. The game is slated for release during early 2013. Thanks, Siliconera.

Castlevania, Donkey King, and Mega Man 4 will release in Japan next week for 3DS Virtual Console. Each game will cost ¥500 a piece. Donkey Kong and Mega Man 4 are the original Famicom versions, and Castlevania is the Japanese Famicom Disk System version. The titles have yet to be confirmed for release on 3DS outside of Japan. Castlevania is on the way to becoming a movie after all, according to an interview with Michael Dorn, best known to geekdom as Star Trek’s Worf.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate may have been pushed into 2013, but that doesn’t mean you can’t ogle a few screenshots and concept art for the game in the interim. Head over to Gematsu for a look. Mercury Steam’s Mirror of Fate will be released on 3DS.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 producer Dave Cox has announced via Twitter the game will be released on PC due to “popular demand.” The game will be the conclusion to the saga, and features Dracula returning to his castle in order to reacquire his powers. Konami followed up the tweet with an official press release on the matter, adding it would be simultaneously developed by Mercury Steam alongside the console versions. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is slated for release in 2013 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Castlevania: Harmony of Despair will land on PSN in the US on September 27, Konami has announced via Twitter. It will land in Europe the following day. The game will include co-op for up to four players and online play for six, Julius Belmont and Yoko Belnades and the Pyramid of Ruin map will also be included, as previously announced. “If the fan feedback is strong enough, we’ll consider it. The same goes for other Konami brands if demand is high. Maybe Castlevania!” – MGS 3D: Snake Eater producer Yoshikazu Matsuhana said at a Konami E3 event last week when asked of the possibility of Castlevani and MGS2 making it to 3DS. MGS 3D launches on 3DS this winter.
