Mojang may have one of the most popular games in recent memory with Minecraft, but the company isn’t looking to stop there. Minecraft Realms is on the way and will offer a safer way for younger players to spend their time in the blocky universe.
Minecraft developer Mojang’s reported earnings for 2012 were $240 million (£152 million), according to comments made by CEO Carl Manneh and reported by Swedish site IT24.
Financials filed by Mojang have revealed since Minecraft’s launch in October 2010, the game has accumulated over $80 million thanks to more than 5 million paid downloads.
