Konami is the second most profitable social publisher

Konami’s Careen Yapp told gamescom attendees that Konami is second only to Zynga when it comes to profitable social games, Joystiq reports. Konami produced $348 million in revenue in social gaming last financial year, which might not seem to stack up that well against Zynga’s enormous figures, but the Farmville publisher has posted losses despite its tremendous income.
