Asura’s Wrath Gamescom trailer shows Street Fighter style fighting
Capcom’s released a new trailer for their upcoming hack and slash title Asura’s Wrath. It features the game’s protagonist and a dude who’s got a hairstyle resembling the mane of a lion, fighting Street Fighter style. No really. The trailer also features some cool QTE sequences and looks really fun. The Cyber-Connect2 developed actioner has no date yet but is in development for PS3, and Xbox 360. New Street Fighter X Tekken trailer released
Capcom has released a brand new trailer for their upcoming brawler epic Street Fighter X Tekken. Apart from being unnaturally gorgeous, the trailer also shows off a gaggle of new characters. Be careful though as this trailer is actually slightly NSFW. Why is that? Because at about 3:55, a bear farts in Guile’s face. That’s not a joke. It’s horrifying.

Capcom hints at going back to roots with Resident Evil 6
Capcom has told Rely on Horror that it is aware fans prefer the traditional, horror-suspense gameplay of past Resident Evil games and it is looking to bring it back.

Dragons’s Dogma gets E3 trailers and details
Capcom’s released two brand new E3 trailers for its upcoming RPG: Dragon’s Dogma. The first one’s a proper trailer for the title, while the second features gameplay. The first trailer details the story of the game and has plenty of dragons flying around. The second one shows off a portion of gameplay from the title and fighting a nasty looking chimera. Dragon’s Dogma is due on PS3 and Xbox 360 in early 2012.

Resident Evil: Raccoon City gets first gameplay trailers
Capcom’s released two new gameplay trailers for their upcoming Resident Evil title – Resident Evil: Raccoon City. The trailers see players fighting against plenty of zombies, soldiers and other nasty looking creatures. The game’s slated for a Q4 2011 release for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Inafune: Dead Rising and Lost Planet prototypes were rejected by Capcom
Former Capcom top-man, Keiji Inafune, disclosed that the risk-averse Capcom management rejected prototypes of both Dead Rising and Lost Planet, but he continued developing them anyway.

Famitsu to carry new Capcom game info next week
Famitsu’s confirmed, via Andriasang, that next week’s issue will include coverage of Street Fighter X Tekken, Asura’s Wrath, Resident Evil 3DS and Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City. Captivate is taking place in the US this week, but Capcom has not released any information about the event’s line-up as yet.
As we reported earlier the publisher has launched a countdown teaser for something called “DD,” that’s scheduled to reach zero next week. This refer to “Dragon’s Dogma,” which Capcom trademarked in September of 2010.

Capcom: Dante changes needed for “visibility”

When Capcom brought developer Ninja Theory on board to make the new Devil May Cry, change was to be expected. But when a new-look Dante was revealed at this year’s Tokyo Games Show, plenty of gamers voiced their disapproval.
