Activision is in the process of conducting an employee consultation process with the staff at Leeds-based studio The Blast Furnace, which was behind the development of mobile title Call of Duty: Strike Team.
Call of Duty: Strike Team is now available for Android on Google Play for $6.99. The title was released for iOS last month and can be played alternately in first-person or top-down mode. It contains a single-player campaign and survival mode.
The new mobile Call of Duty game wasn’t rushed out; it was developed under conditions of strict secrecy, which is why its appearance on the scene seems so sudden.
