Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has been updated on PC. Two recent patches add a pile of improvements to the multiplayer side, bringing the PC version up to date with recent console fixes as well as applying a collection of platform-specific tweaks. If you haven’t checked in with Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on Wii U recently, it’s time to do so. Treyarch has issued a significant patch, introducing a number of balancing tweaks and fixes already available on other platforms. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Revolution DLC drops tomorrow on Xbox Live, and Activision’s One of Swords blog has posted some exclusive gameplay footage from ‘Grind’, one of four new multiplayer maps included in the bundle. It’s, like, totally tubular dudes.

An update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has been released by Treyarch for Xbox 360 and is said to be hitting PlayStation 3 “soon”.

The patch features a long list of updates, most notably perhaps is the addition of the Live Streaming feature to Public Match playlists. Thanks to ComputerAndVideoGames, who have the full patch notes of the improvements and new features.

The update comes in preparation for the Black Ops 2 Revolution DLC which drops January 29 on Xbox Live and includes the addition of four new multiplayer maps, a Zombie arena and the Peacekeeper weapon.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 entices you back to its firm, military grip this weekend with the promise of double XP for multiplayer. The fun kicks off at 10:00AM PST on January 25 and runs through the same time on January 28. PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360 players will all benefit.

FIFA 13 has topped the physical UK PS3 chart for 2012 and has emerged as the year’s top-selling title on Sony’s format, giving Call of Duty and Far Cry 3 the boot.
