Due to our shameful lack of update yesterday, you now only have a half a weekend to take advantage of the fact all Rockstar games have been reduced by 30 percent on Steam until tomorrow.

A string of classics – such as GTA IV, Bully: Scholarship Edition, Max Payne 2 and Vice City – are all for grabs for peanuts. Do yourself a favour, innit.

IGN’s Games Convention team spotted a German Bully poster inside Rockstar’s booth, and after a quick translation, confirmed that Bully: Scholarship Edition is bussing over to the PC.

Additionally, a loose-lipped Rockstar rep noted that the game will be coming late in October, but an exact date was not provided.

Zenimax is releasing Bully in Japan this week, the company’s announced, with both PS2 and Xbox 360 versions hitting tomorrow.

“We’re looking forward to bringing this fan favorite to Japan,” said Zenimx Asia’s Tetsu Takahashi.

“Rockstar produces exceptional games and we’re excited to be working with them on extending their reach to gamers across the globe.”

According to numerous reports, Bully’s been banned in Brazil. Apparently, Judge Flavio Rabello has ordered the suspension of all sales of the title in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil’s southern most province.

“The aggravating factor is that everything in [Bully] takes place inside a school,” said Rio Grande do Sul state prosecutor Alcindo Bastos. “That is not acceptable.”

So there we are.

Says so here. It also says that it’s unclear what the patch actually fixes and that some gamers are reported that freezing issues with the Rockstar game are actually worse as a result of the update. Bodes well for GTA IV.

According to this Rockstar will be giving the latest on the much-needed patch for Bully: Scholarship Edition tomorrow.

After saying that the Xbox 360 version of the game would be fixed in a week over a week ago, this update obviously mean the update’s still not done.

Rockstar’s issued a statement saying those experiencing issues with the 360 edition of Bully are going to get a Live-delivered patch sooner rather than later.

We are very aware of the problems some people have been experiencing with the Xbox 360 version of Bully: Scholarship Edition and have been doing everything within our powers to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.

We will be releasing a title update through Xbox Live within the next week that we are confident will rectify the problem. We apologize wholeheartedly for the inconvenience that this matter has caused some owners of the game.

Go Rockstar. Wish all publishers would be so attentive when things go wrong.
