Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter has taken to Twitter to announced he is in discussions with “a major gaming company” regarding a possible video game adaption of his FX drama following the lives of a motorcycle gang.

Glitch beta officially reset in preparation for launch

Beta testers of quirky cartoon MMO Glitch: The inevitable has happened. Developer Tiny Speck has pulled the plug and reset everybody’s progress, losing all of your belongings, hard-earned skills, currants and achievements. But this is a good thing, because it means the game is now that much closer to launch!

During the course of the week, loads of indie games, less mainstream titles and those point-and-click adventures you are always hearing about, sometimes get lost in the shuffle -what with news on Uncharted 2 and Modern Warfare 2 happening every three minutes or so.

That’s why, much like the MMO news round-up, we’ve decided to remedy this by giving you a heads up on news, demos, patches, announcements, trailers, screens and other doodads pertaining to these games that you missed out on during the week.

While not comprehensive, since there are loads of this sort out there, we will do our best to be as thorough as possible.

Quake open beta goes live February 24

The open beta for browser-based shooter Quake will go live on February 24, id confirmed today.

The classic game is for competitive play, complete with leaderboards and matchmaking. And all for free.

Stats will be wiped from closed beta participants in preparation for launch.
