Pinnacle Station balls-up blights Mass Effect
Mass Effect’s been hit with an anger-causing bug on the launch of the new Pinnacle Station DLC, meaning those with Bring Down the Sky installed for the 360 version have to delete the previous content and reinstall it to be able to get the new play-space.
You can find unhappy bunnies here. BioWare’s looking at a fix, as you can see here.
Thanks, Joystiq.

Bring down the price: Mass Effect PC gets free DLC
Mass Effect’s first DLC pack, released for Xbox 360 back in March, is now available on PC. However, unlike its console counterpart, this low-quantity, high-quality slice of BioWare goodness is available for free.
“Bring Down the Sky,” as it’s known, adds an extra 90-minute side mission to Mass Effect’s massive universe. In other words, expect more walking, talking, and blasting – likely in that order.
Check out the full press release after the break.

Mass Effect PC DLC not ready for launch
The PC version of Mass Effect’s shipped in the States, but promised DLC Bring Down the Sky isn’t ready, according to BioWare’s site. Shame on you, BioWare.
“BioWare’s space hamsters are running as fast as they can in their orbital wheels to bring you your free Bring Down the Sky downloadable content for Mass Effect PC. When the downloadable content is available, we’ll shout out to you through the Mass Effect game launcher, this page, and our news RSS.”
Thanks, Kotaku.

Mass Effect DLC available now
Bring Down the Sky, the downloadable Mass Effect expansion, is out now on Live for 400 MS Points. According to the Major, “Batarian extremists have hijacked a mobile asteroid station in the Asgard system, setting it on a collision course with the nearby colony world of Terra Nova. Only you can save the human hostages on the asteroid and reroute it before it crashes into the world, killing millions of innocent civilians.”
The pack carries an extra 50 APs and weighs in at 253.40Mb.
