Video of BottleRocket’s The Flash hits the net

After the break is a video for the canceled superhero game, The Flash game.
It’s the one BottleRocket was making before its publisher, Brash, hit the skids.
The footage you will see is just six months worth of work, and there was still at the least a year to go on it.
Too bad, really, it looked rather appealing for a superhero title.

Namco pulled Splatterhouse off Bottlerocket because of “performance issues”

Namco pulled the Splatterhouse-plug on Bottlerocket due to “performance issues,” the company said today.
Namco Bandai bossman Makoto Iwai told Gamasutra:
“The only reason why publishers pull the project out from the developer is when the developer isn’t really meeting the requirements, ” he said. “So, unfortunately, this was the case.
“I have to be very careful so we don’t make any direct comment on it because whatever we say, people will try to be on the developer side. You know, “The developer is an independent developer trying hard, and evil publishers are trying to get rid of the business by doing whatever they feel like.
“That’s not the case”, he added. “I just want to be 100 percent clear. There was a performance issue.”

First Splatterhouse trailer released
Not much to see here, but at least we know it’s not going to be pleasant.
The game involves a hockey mask, pulling people in half and some silly bint called Jennifer that needs “saving,” or somesuch.
After the break. No date.

New Splatterhouse shots look jumpy, messy
This could be awesome. IGN’s posted some new screens of upcoming horror remake Splatterhouse, showing jumping, making heads explode and what looks like two side-kick dog things.
It’s not out until next year, but artwork of a huge man with an oversized arm covered in bodily fluid up the elbow pretty much does it for us. Check it out.
