Blacklight: Retribution Onslaught expansion is now live
Perfect World has announced that Blacklight: Retribution Onslaught is now live, which the firm is calling the “largest update ever” for the shooter. The expansion features new maps and weapons, as well as the new Onslaught mode, which features four-player co-op in which the team must survive waves of zombies. A variety of in-game item packages, including the Silver Crowbar melee weapon, reserved exclusively for Steam players, is also included. Today’s release also marks the availability of the game in Turkey. Check out screenshots of it below.

Blacklight: Retribution developer video shows off a few of the customization options
Perfect World has released a developer video for Blacklight: Retribution, showcasing the shooter’s customization options. There are various ways for the player to customize their super soldier beyond the norm, and the video highlights the bigger aspects to the system. However, as D’toid notes, there are areas of customization in the game not included in the video such as emblems, titles and voice packs. Currently in phase three of the closed beta, the free-to-play Zombie Studios FPS is slated for a release later this year.

Blacklight gets first shot

The first image of Zombie’s Blacklight’s popped up on FirstShowing.
It’s a shooter. In the future.
The game was announced recently as being constructed as a cross-media IP, with a movie and comics also in the works.
