Irrational “still focusing on” BioShock movie, “but it hasn’t consumed us so much”
Ken Levine has said he and is team are “still focused” on getting the BioShock movie made, but as he has said previously, it’s not a top priority.

Juan Carlos Fresnadillo no longer slated to direct BioShock film
It looks as though another blow has been dealt a film adaptation of BioShock, as Juan Carlos Fresnadillo has stepped down as its director, according to a report on Indie Wire.

Gore Verbinski passes on fourth Pirates film to do BioShock movie
Director Gore Verbinski has passed on the fourth installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise in order to focus on the upcoming BioShock movie.
That’s fine, because, if we’re being honest, the last PotC film was shit anyway.
Take-Two head Strauss Zelnick said last year that the BioShock movie will release alongside a third game.
