Sony has announced a new version of the BBC Sports App Beta is now available with new features and more coverage. It also supports high definition footage across live events, and eventual coverage of the Olympics will be available through the app as well. To test it out, hit up the My Channels icon under TV/Video Services on your PS3.

Sony has announced a free,beta version of the BBC Sports app is available on PlayStation Network. Listed in “My Channels” of the XMB, it will allow PS3 users to stream a large amount of BBC Sports coverage, even the big ones such as F1 racing, the London 2012 Olympics, and Wimbledon.
